Fostering Sustainable Rural Development

Gramya Unnayan Bikash Sansthan (G.U.B.S) is a non-profit organization committed to fostering sustainable rural development and empowering communities across Odisha. Established with a vision to uplift weaker sections of society—particularly farmers, tribal communities, women, and youth—the organization works towards creating inclusive growth through education, skill development, and environmental conservation.

Our initiatives focus on strengthening livelihoods by providing training in agriculture and allied sectors, promoting the use of modern tools and techniques, and encouraging research and innovation. We actively engage in areas such as medicinal plant awareness, agroforestry, environmental sustainability, and conservation of natural resources including soil, water, flora, and fauna.

G.U.B.S also emphasizes education and capacity building by organizing training programs, workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns. Special attention is given to empowering women, enhancing youth leadership, and supporting marginalized communities through vocational training and self-employment opportunities.

In addition, we work towards preserving cultural heritage, promoting traditional arts and crafts, and improving sanitation, health, and overall quality of life in rural areas. Our organization is strictly non-political, non-religious, and dedicated to humanitarian service.

With a strong governing body comprising experienced social workers and professionals, we strive to build a network of collaboration and deliver impactful, community-driven solutions for a better and sustainable future.
