Awareness on Hygiene & Sanitation
An awareness campaign promoting basic hygiene and sanitation practices among rural residents with distribution of hygiene kits to 80+ beneficiaries.
About This Event
An awareness campaign was conducted to promote basic hygiene and sanitation practices among rural residents. Through posters, presentations, and skits, participants were educated on healthy habits, and hygiene kits were distributed to around 80 beneficiaries.
The program focused on educating villagers about the importance of personal hygiene, safe drinking water practices, proper waste disposal methods, and maintaining clean surroundings. Community leaders and health workers actively participated in the campaign to ensure the message reached every household.
This initiative was part of GUBS's broader commitment to improving health and sanitation standards in rural Odisha, particularly in underserved communities that lack access to basic healthcare facilities.
