Water Conservation Awareness Programme

Awareness campaigns organized on World Water Day to educate rural communities on water conservation, safe water usage, and sustainable water management.

About This Event

Awareness campaigns were organized on World Water Day (22nd March) to educate rural communities on water conservation and hygiene. Through presentations and community engagement, villagers were guided on safe water usage, sanitation, and sustainable water management practices.

The program was conducted simultaneously in two locations — Bodapahad in Koraput district and Jaribahal in Keonjhar district — to maximize reach and impact. Local community leaders and school teachers helped facilitate the sessions, ensuring the message resonated with participants of all ages.

The campaigns included demonstrations of water-saving techniques, rainwater harvesting methods, and proper well maintenance, providing villagers with practical knowledge they could implement immediately in their daily lives.
